The Colors of Life

As dark to light and red to blue,
so go our lives in varied hue.
Like the colors on a kaleidoscope,
we go from faith, to love, tohope.
Black and purple, lavender, blue...
A few dark days may be our due.
Yellow, pink, orange and red,
with joy and happiness our spirits are fed.
Pink and green, fuschia, or gray...
Let faith and love begin each day.
All mixed together, all joined as are you,
for a life that is varied and a love that is true.
As the wheel turns around and the days turn to years,
may your colors stay bright and unfaded by tears!
