Where is your treasure
just where is it stored?
Can you reach in your pocket,
give some to the Lord?
For those who can hear,
there is so much to tell.
The source of the water
is the River, not the well.
And what He pours out
in His goodness each day,
we give back in our tithes
as we try to repay.
Do we give Him his due,
or some try to hide?
It’s all up to us.
Only we can decide.
For He gives us the “will”
and He gives us the “won’t”
and He knows if we do
and He knows if we don’t.
So if we choose to give back,
be generous, not shy
so the water keeps flowing
and the well won’t run dry!
